 Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Please join us on Saturday, November 1st, at the new Barnes & Noble College
Town, where the University of Rochester Press will be holding an event in
celebration of our 25th anniversary.The event, which will begin at 4 p.m.,
is entitled “Gender and Race in the United States: A Historical
Perspective.” URP authors Ken Marshall and Alison Parker will each be
giving a brief talk, and a discussion and book signing will follow. The
attached flyer gives details. Please come if you can, and feel free to
spread the word!
