Subject: Black in Latin America Screening
Please join us for a screening of Black in Latin America (Dominican
Republic and Haiti episode). This is a MOSAIC Cultural Awareness Series

Concluding the episode screening, Dr. Maria Helena Lima (English) and Dr.
Melanie Medeiros (Anthropology) will facilitate a discussion about what it
means to be Black in Latin America and the significance of African roots to
Latin American culture.

There will be free food! This event is co-sponsored by the Black Student
Union, Latino Student Association as well as the SUNY Geneseo Office of
