Please tell your students:
There are still a few spaces in the Biology and Global Health course left
this summer, and there are two information sessions coming up:

   - This Thursday at 7:00 in Newton 209
   - Next Wednesday at 7:30 in ISC 137

The Biology and Global Health class counts as a 300-level elective with lab
in the Biology major and minor, and can be used for the International
Relations major and minor, the Africana/Black Studies major and minor, and
the Environmental Studies minor. We do research on schistosomiasis, a
neglected tropical disease as part of the course, and there is an option to
stay on longer and extend the research opportunity.

Next year, Prof. Muench plans to offer a version of the course with no
prerequisites and Natural Science core credit.
