*BLKS 188 Black Studies at Geneseo (1 credit), Thursdays from 2:30-3:20pm*
with Professors Lytton Smith and Melanie Medeiros
PLUS presentations by black studies faculty members from across campus and
guest speakers from off campus

Black Studies is an urgent, exciting interdisciplinary field which allows
students to gain knowledge in many different subject areas at Geneseo. This
course allows students to learn from faculty in subject areas as diverse as
Anthropology, Biology, Creative Writing, Dance, Education, English, Film
Studies, Geography, History, Languages and Literature, Latin American
studies, Sociomedical Sciences, Study Abroad, Women's and Gender studies,
and more!
