Dear Friends,

Save the dates! Africa Writes returns to the British Library, from *Friday
5th to Sunday 7th July 2019*.

Not only will we be bringing you an exciting programme of events in London,
but this year we are delighted to announce the *Bristol edition* of the
festival, which will be held in venues around the city, *Saturday 29th June
to Thursday 4th July*.

Next month we'll be in Kigali and Nairobi on a scoping visit supported by
the British Council, meeting people who are doing exciting things in the
literary space. Keep your eye on our socials for updates!

media to join our small team in the lead up to the eighth edition of Africa

Please note, this paid internship is open to current SOAS students &
graduates who are based in or able to travel to London.

workshops celebrating contemporary literature from Africa, the South West
and the diaspora. The programme will include a full day of activities on
the Saturday, followed by a series of evening events across the city.
