Dear Students of French and Other Enthusiasts!
French major Emilei Cantrell has asked that I forward the information
below. I would like to encourage all of you to attend. It sounds
like a great concert and a good way to support a worthy cause.
Thanks,
Beverly Evans
>Geneseo's chapter of Amnesty International will be hosting Playing for
Peace, a benefit concert, at Muddy Waters on Friday, February 26th.
Rochester band CRB (Classic Rock & Blues) will be performing from
8pm-10pm, and we will be collecting donations to contribute in full to
Amnesty International's Demand Dignity Campaign. The band does covers of
popular hits by Tom Petty, Leonard Skinner, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, the
Orleans, and Bon Jovi just to name a few. It will be a good time to
relax on a Friday evening, listen to some great music, and contribute to
a good cause. Thank you very much, and I hope to see you there!
