	Hello!  As I'm sure you're aware, you have new printers going into your areas.  To get you printing onto the new printer the quickest way possible I wanted to send you the instructions for adding printers from the CIT Self Help page.  If you have any trouble with these directions please contact me or the helpdesk to put in a ticket and I will assist you at your earliest convenience.
Mac OS 10.7 (Your Mac IS JOINED to the Geneseo Domain):

Click on System Preferences ->  Print&  Scan.
Click on the 'padlock' icon in the lower left if it is locked and type in your admin username and password to unlock it.
Click the Add button (+)  (you may also see and need to choose 'Add Other Printer or Scanner' if this is your first time adding a printer.)
Click on the 'Default' icon at the top (should be selected by default).
Find and click on the name of your printer in the list (the name on the sticker that CIT put on your printer - ie: Newton127a).
It should put the specific driver name in the 'Print Using' field automatically. If not, click on the drop down menu called 'Print Using', choose 'Select Printer Software...', select the Printer Manufacturer and specific model from the list. Click on the 'OK' button.
Click the 'Add' button.
Note: If the driver is not listed, you will need to download the driver from the manufacturer's website. Install the driver and then start over from Step 1.
* If it's a Toshiba printer driver, you must download the driver from the manufacturer's website and then restart your Mac before adding the printer.
You may have to choose specific options for your printer before it adds it to your Printers list.
