Dear Colleague,
I have attached three seasonal employment announcements for the New York
State Department of Environmental Conservation Summer Camps. These
positions located at 4 camps within New York State will give your students
a great hands-on experience working out of doors with the public as well
as their peers. Please distribute the information to those interested
students. These positions are highly coveted and I would recommend anyone
interested in applying do so early. Those students who have
certifications such as Waterfront Life Guarding, Water Safety Instructor,
CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, Responding to Emergencies or
Wilderness First Aid will be given preference for interviews. These
positions are a great opportunity for those who love the out of doors,
love working with youth and for those who want to gain valuable employment
experience.
Thank you for your assistance,
Randall (Randy) Caccia

What would the world be, once bereft
Of wet and wildness? Let them be left,
O let them be left, wildness and wet;
Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.
