The due date you give us is the your "return by this date".  We adjust
the time our customer has with the book so that we can get it back to
you by your due date. I am willing to bet- given the uncertainties of
delivery systems- that items often are tardy coming back.  This is one
of the reasons we allow 14 days after the due date before Notice One
and the recalls go out.

When you borrow ILL materials that have a due date, do you use that due
date as when you expect it back from the patron or when you expect it
back at the lending library.
