[Workflowtoolkit-l] Poll: Do you use ILLiad 8?

Tim-
My Word templates worked - and still work.
What threw me for a loop is that the labels and slips no longer sorted
out the way I needed them to. Once that was resolved, I started using
8.0 to for printouts.
I'm one of those who use both versions. Right now- because our PCs have
memory issues- it's quicker for me to look-up and update stacks search
results using 7.4. For most other things, I use 8.0. My staff are
slowly coming online with 8.0; it's our area goal this fiscal year.

Moving to ILLiad 8 is not a requirement at this time. Currently, ILLiad
8 is just a client upgrade and uses the same database as ILLiad 7.4. As
such, ILLiad 7.4 is a prerequisite for 8, but not a replacement. So you
can still use 7.4 for now, though I would highly recommend testing 8
out.
When Atlas will update the database for ILLiad 8 is not something I'm
privy to. If I had to guess, though, you'll have ample time to get
acquainted with the new client before that happens. Obviously, Atlas
will let us all know for sure.
One word of caution, though: once you print slips with ILLiad 8, your
Word templates will no longer work with ILLiad 7.4 (it changes the data
sources to use new Excel files). I'm unsure if this is something that
will be fixed or not, but just be aware of it.
Hope this helps,
-Tim

started using ILLiad 8. If you don't use ILLiad 8 (or don't plan on it),
would you mind leaving a comment as to why? And if you do use ILLiad 8,
what are your thoughts about it? Pros and cons? Any advice for folks who
haven't installed it yet?
