Hi Everyone,

For our document delivery, we use Odyssey. In dealing with Ariel-only libraries and other non-Odyssey users, we rely on e-mail for transmitting documents. Recently, our campus IT department reduced our file size limit for e-mail messages to 10 MB, which seems to be causing us some problems (especially when it comes to color and grayscale files). We’re interested in knowing what the limitations and expectations of other ILL departments are. We’d appreciate answers to the following questions:

Do you send ILL documents by e-mail? No.

What are your institution’s file size limits for e-mail attachments? N/A

What file size limitations do you expect recipients to have when you send documents? N/A

What alternative means of transmitting documents do you have? Ariel, Odyssey, fax, USPS

Thanks so much,

Denisa
