[Workflowtoolkit-l] ILLiad paperwork question for Borrowers

Hi Georgina,
Here at CTB we do not need the patron's name on any of the paper work. As lenders, we do not need it because all we care about is getting the item to you and then it is up to you to get it to your patron. As borrowers, we print our own book straps that have our patron's name on it, so I don't need it on your paper work. IF the patron's name is already on the paper work, we do not bother removing it though...too much work.

YES, we need the patron's name. Back when we had paper files, that's how
things were arranged. Now we have ILLiad, but we still like to have the
patron's name on the paperwork as a way to help quickly verify we got the
right item for the right person. :)
Hope this helps!

Hello,
We are trying to figure out if it is possible for our patrons to access their ILLiad account via their mobile devices. Has anyone else tried it or know how it could be done?
Thanks,

Hi
Apologies if this repeats a question previously asked. I'm brand new to the list.
I'm wondering if there's a current best practice for the inclusion/omission of the patron's name from the paperwork shipped with the loan by the lender? Borrowers: do you need this information on our paperwork or may we omit it? This will help us to maintain patron privacy on our end, but we also don't want to be inconveniencing you.
I've read a thread from August 2011 that discusses whether or not to include the patron name on book bands but I think it applies to bands being put on once the loans have arrived at the patron's institution.
Many thanks in advance, and greetings

We have had problems with the web validation of email accounts since the upgrade as well. We will give Nathan's code a try to see if it works better than any of the variations we experimented with. We used to have it be required as somebody at usd.edu<mailto:somebody at usd.edu>. In the end we went to just requiring something be entered, which has led to several cases of insufficient info being created. Have others been having issues as well?

When we upgraded to 8.1, new users were stumped to find that ILLiad would not accept their email address on our NewAuthReg form. I found the same held true on the ChangeUserReg form. Since launching ILLiad borrowing, we had been using the Perl regex of \w+\@\w+ to specify that we required users to input a format such as somebody at someplace.somewhere<mailto:somebody at someplace.somewhere> - this no longer worked after upgrading to 8.1.
We had to change the regex validation to ^[_a-z0-9-]+(\.[_a-z0-9-]+)*@[a-z0-9-]+(\.[a-z0-9-]+)*$<mailto:*@[a-z0-9-]+(\.%5ba-z0-9-%5d+)*$> in the Customization Manager in order to achieve the same results.
Just something you might experience on the Web side of 8.1.
