[Workflowtoolkit-l] ILLiad staff manager - access denied for added usernames during login.

I have v.8.2 of the Staff Manager in c:\Program Files\ILLiad, and a shortcut on the desktop. I tested it just by changing the password on the login of a former student aide, by copying an existing user to create a new one, and by creating a user from scratch. All worked as expected. What's odd is that, while Staff Manager reports itself as version 8.2, it shows a last modified date of 10/24/11 even though we upgraded to 8.2 only a few days ago. All I can think of is to try deleting (or at least sequestering somewhere) all traces of the old ILLiad program files and then reinstalling the new client. I'm not sure if the client install also installs the staff manager and other components, though it certainly did put new shortcuts on my desktop.

Has anyone who upgraded to 8.2 experiencing trouble with their staff manager?

Since upgrading, I receive an "access denied" notification when testing a newly added user login.  I don't see any indication that there is a new version of that staff manager in on my local C, on the server, or on the executable files list found in the ILLiad 8.2 documentation.
