Sue (and ILLiad Colleagues):

Several have already responded with useful practical information. ND and Penn State presented on this very subject at the ILLiad Conference in 2010 and discussed how our institutions planned, implemented, and marketed the service.

Attached is the information we shared, which you might find useful.

Best,

Subject: [Workflowtoolkit-l] ILLiad email notification as text messages

ILLiad works great to send out email notifications to patrons concerning the status of their requests. However, I see a growing trend that students don't read their email. We end up getting messages that their mailbox is full. I am wondering if anyone has ILLiad notification going out as text messages to the students phone. Could someone with ILLiad give me information on how you set this up?

Best regards,
Sue
